As a Bratz fan with a computer/video game addiction, I was so excited when Outright Games announced they would be releasing a Bratz Video Game. It’s been so long since Bratz released a video game (besides their Total Fashion Makeover mobile game in 2021) and you can bet I would spend the last of my money on that game for a slice of nostalgic happiness for my inner child, she was ecstatic. The game was released on Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and PC, so gamers of all types can could get their fix of interacting with a modern take on the Bratz universe. With their classic aesthetics, Sasha, Jade, Yasmin and Cloe were back and ready to take on what Stylesville (and a few other location worldwide) had ready for them.

The game starts is a very swanky Stylesville apartment while you play as Cloe through the tutorial. You learn how to travel, how to take pictures and how to “write”/upload your latest stories. For everyone who dreamed of living the Bratz magazine dream of running around and writing stories for your own teen magazine!
I haven’t played the Bratz games for years now, so I don’t remember if they all follow the same premise, but the open world experience, the wide variety of quests and gameplay options and customisation of the girls really brings the magic to being one of the Bratz.
As part of the (re-)release of the girls nite out doll collection, in May 2022, Outright Games released the Girls Nite Out DLC which I haven’t played yet but I am so super stoked to try it out.
I’ll write more on that when I get the chance to explore all of it’s content and try out the new styles.
